Storm Surge, heavy rain & flooding on Soundshore

We have a Soundshore client who had called us for help and a water damage --nthat put four feet of the Long Island Sound in her finished basement -- after Superstorm Sandy. This time, she had nearly 8 feet of water in her 7 foot ceiling basement and nearly a foot on the first floor. Her storm surge near the Long Island Sound in Larchmont exceed the Sandy flooding x 2!. Her unfinished basement is getting "used to this," according to Eileen S., but we quickly extracted the water, dried the lower level and her first floor. We saved nearly new Bamboo Flooring, with special matting and dehumidification, using our SERVPRO of Scarsdale equipment.  Our client was very happy and they'll call us again, as needed in an area that floods easily!
