Why is personal protective equipment necessary for mold cleanup?

Mold can contain many allergens for people who are sensitive. Mold also spreads by sporulation, and each little spore will have a mycotoxin attached. In most cases, these little toxins will not harm. They are everywhere all the time in the outdoors. But when the mold is growing in your home the spores and mycotoxins are elevated in the closed space.

Using personal protective equipment (PPE) assures that our technicians are healthy. It is mandated by OSHA to have PPE for all technicians that will be working with mold and sewage cleaning.
